The project's main goal is to improve assessment practices in foundational first year education using technology options. The more specific objectives include:
1. Conduct study for current practice in freshman education across HEIs and making it the core for developing strategic change at this important foundational stage in university education.
2. Redesign and implement 10 large enrolment modules in the professional degree programs across disciplines.
3. Draft and institutionalize formative assessment policies for large enrolment group.
4. Use established technologies to facilitate timely feedback loops.
5. Draft national frame matrix for assessment practices which includes nature and type of assessment for large hall freshman classes.
